Abstract
Russia: Russia is one of the important export markets for China's construction machinery. Due to the lack of strength of local manufacturers, the Russian market was mainly occupied by European and American construction machinery products. However, affected by the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, European and American construction machinery brands have almost completely withdrawn from the Russian market in the past two years, and Chinese brands have begun to rise rapidly. In 2023, China's construction machinery exports to Russia reached 6.058 billion US dollars, an increase of 66.5%. In the first half of 2024, despite a decline in sales of some construction machinery such as excavators, sales of telescopic loaders, excavators, loaders, crawler bulldozers and other equipment increased, showing that the Russian market still has potential.
Indonesia: Indonesia is one of the main export destinations for construction machinery such as excavators in China. From January to November 2024, China's excavator exports to Indonesia reached 780 million US dollars.
Belgium: Belgium is an important European construction machinery market and an important gateway to the European market. China's construction machinery exports to Belgium are also considerable, especially in the field of small excavators.
